Dev log 2 : A lot more stuff added post-jam
So quite a lot has changed with the game since Ludum Dare. Let's see what else has been added :
- Player character's movement has been made more fast-paced :
The player now has faster movement speed overall and the jump and drop-down speed has been increased to facilitate more faster style of play
- Grenades are now actually useful :
The player has a choice of throwing grenades for a short throw or a long throw now. Long throw grenades explode on impact with barrels and aliens. Short throw grenades explode after a while and also get caught by enemies in a comical fashion leaving them clueless about what to do.
- The player can now kick some alien a** ( literally ) :
The player can now melee with a sharp kick which kills aliens. He can also kick barrels towards enemies and even drop-kick grenades
- Aliens do more than just stand and shoot :
The aliens now patrol their surroundings and only fire once the player is in their line of sight.
- Play the way you bloody want :
Most people wanted to just continuously blast downwards instead of clearing every floor. Well now you can do that if you wish. You can clear every floor or just bolt downwards blasting a few aliens left and right. The choice of play is yours. The above changes have actually accommodated for any style of play
........ just keep your combo meter alive and send those aliens back to wherever they came from
