You should have just made dodge go in the direction you're facing not the direction you're moving, would have made things much more intuitive. Cool looking game

i also got a big problem with speed in the webGL version of my game, but i think is a unity thing, if you find a fix lemme know

I know the time constraints of Ludum Dare are the reason this is so short but damn, I loved this and was sad to see it end so soon. I'm such a sucker for good combat tutorials, and I love how each level is a small slice of teaching you the core mechanics (run, dodge through an enemy, kill using the horde, etc).

From your twitter it looks like you're working on something bigger with similar mechanics, can't wait for that to come out. I love the side scrolling 1D combat style of this game. It feels very "Sekiro"-like to me (even though there's no parrying), because of how distilled / pure it is. Good luck with ludum dare ratings, nice job!

Great game!  The controls felt great and I like the style.  I wish the kick wasn't tied to the zombies health.  I could see this turning into an endless mode fairly easily.

Interesting idea and love the art direction, just gameplay could be balanced better.

The objective of the level is on the up-right side of the screen. The first level is just go to the door :D. I did't  get it at the beggining.
